Javier Dominguez has set great colour to this tournament with his spectacular aggressivness. He was always the favourite to be the winner as soon as we got to the final table, but it wouldn’t end that way.The brave Spaniard went out on the “heads-up-bubble” after losing with K, 9 to Alessio Masini’s A, K with a Q, 2, 2, Q, 3 board. Javier has to settle for a prize check of €40,500.

After a lot of action pre-flop the two big stacks Masini and Dominguez saw the flop A, 5, 8 with two spades. Masini bet, Dominguez goes all-in with king-queen of clubs for flush draw and Masini calls with A, 9 for topp pair. The pot is then 1,1 million. The turn is in Masinis favour, 3 of diamonds, but the river gives Dominguez the pot as it is 7 of spades. Masini dropped down to 1,1 million and is level with Dominguez with the same amount.

There is a lot of action at the moment on the final table. This time Dominguez was surprisingly not involved in the action. Arnaldo Petino is easily the oldest player among the remaining five. He made a raise pre-flop, Swede Ojan re-raised and Faramarzi went all-in with a total of 160,000 holding pocket sixes. Faramarzi called holding king-queen of clubs and needed help. The board came J, 2, 9, 5, 2 and Petoni doubled up to 320,000. Faramarzi dropped down to 240,000.
